| You surely have watched the Lifetime Movie Network before, when you needed to escape from whatever your real life was throwing at you. You know one of those movies where the nanny plots to poison Mommy so she can move in fulltime and have a ready made family she could never have on her own. Or the gardener who has his eye on the pretty wife as he plots to kill the unsuspecting husband and take his place. Perhaps it was the pool boy who secretly plots with one of the daughters who despises her parents and they scheme to kill them both and live happily ever after in the mansion. Or so they thought..... Well December is SLAY BELLS MONTH on Lifetime Movie Network and if you think you have seen it all..... you will find out you haven't! . And OMG most of the movies are based on true stories!. So where am I going with this? No this is not a TELEMUNDO 51 drama! But the Southern Yankees & Champion Miami Yankees undefeated clash certainly had lots of plots, twists and lead changes. . The Miami Yankees scored 3 quick runs in the opening first frame. Their stellar piching and great defense kept the Southern Yankees off the scoreboard early on, and after 3 innings it was still 3- zip. In the top of the fourth the offense for the Southern Yankees came to life and they scored 5 runs to take the lead after 4 innings with the score now 5-3. But the slugging Miami Yankees came right back in the bottom of the fifth scoring 4 runs on some timely hitting and now led the game 7-5. Like i said earlier there were lots of twists and turns and plot changes just like in the movies. Better vet the nanny, poolboy and gardner next time you hire someone to work at your dwelling. Most are hard working great people but others may be a little scheming and suspect like the ones on LMN. Getting back to the big game- in the top of the sixth Juan Chaviano smashed a long home run to left with a runner on and we were all knotted up at 7 apiece after 6 innings. . What a game so far! The Southern Yankees went quietly in the top of the seventh and the Miami Yankees decided it was time to pounce. In the bottom of the 7th they scored 3 runs on some sloppy fielding along with some big hits in the gap. They now led 10-7 . Both teams added a run late in the game and the final score was 11-8 in favor of the talented champion Miami Yankees. Great contest and camaraderie on both sides and congrats to the champs. Miguel Sanchez stroked 3 hits for Miami and Ozuna Denin added 2 hits to lead their team. For the Southern Yankees -Luis Sanchez & Reidy Olivo smacked 3 hits and Justin Bartoletta and Juan Chaviano stroked 2 hits apiece to lead the offense for the Southern Yankees. Next time you need a diversion click on Lifetime Movie Network and silence your phone. Pay attention to the plot as it may be coming to a home like yours soon so beware!
