| The Bums held off to defeat the Indians 18-11 and clinch the top spot in the Broward Division.
The Indians kept battling back in a game that was much closer than the score would indicate.
The game, which was called after 8-innings, was only a 1-run game through 7 innings. Every time the Bums would pull ahead, the Indians would come back and make it a close game again.
Nick Kempen earned the win in relief and belted his first HR of the season, a solo shot in the 7th inning. |
