The next 3 innings was a scoreless pitcher's duel between D-Backs Mario Figueredo and Black Bats Duanni Losada for a D-Backs 4-2 lead after 4 innings. The D-Backs would put 4 runs on the board in the 5th to stretch the lead to 8-2. The Black Bats closed the gap in the 6th for a D-Backs lead of 8-6.
