| The Red Sox were down a run through five, then gave up one in the fifth and four more runs in the sixth, including a dramatic play at the plate where Ray Longaray slid into Mitch Baker and knocking the ball loose in dramatic fashion. Gabriel Collazo, making his first start in ages, had held the big hitting Canes to a few base hits up until the sixth. But the Red Sox made it a game by scoring three runs in the top of the ninth and loading the bases before Canes closer shut the door with a final strikeout. Canes win - Sox lose bottom line. |
