Another hot day for playing Baseball. The Stingrays came out strong with a solo Homerun by Tom Terribile in the 1st inning. Then with some good hitting by the team and another Bomb by Tom the Stingrays produce 5 in the 2nd inning. The Monarchs come back with 3 of their own and another 3 in the 4th tying it up at 6. The Stingrays go back on top in the 5th and the Monarchs come back with 3 to take the Lead and control the game the rest of the way. Hats off to Kevin Parsons for pitching 7 great innings but the Monarchs were too much in the end. Im proud of the Stingrays they played with Big Hearts and Intensity considering the Bad Field Conditions. |

The score is deceiving since the game was close for a majority of the time. Hats off to the Rays who were competitive and determined. A note to the league - be careful when pitching to Tom (Rays) - he hit 2 bombs that should be on SportsCenter. Great team effort by the Monarchs to turn it on when needed. |
