| The Southern Yankees finally returned to the baseball diamond after a 5 week hiatus of rainouts and floods but got outslugged again 17-11. the sfbl Champion Marlins have way too many pitchers and manpowere and the Yankees were missing some of their key players with 4 starters away on travel. hats off to the Marlins as the Yankees battled thru out but were doomed by too many errors and the big sluggers and depth of the Marlins. Luis Sanchez was the lone bright spot for the Yankees with 2 hits and 5 stolen bases in the heat. Reidy Olivo & Eric Judd were warriors on the mound and behind the plate as they swapped positions mid game. Lendy Guerrero led the Marlins swatting 4 hits to lead their balanced attack.
